School of Journalism student organizations (PRSSA and SPJ) will host a student debate about the 2008 Presidential candidates and their position on the following issues:

  • The War in Iraq
  • Gas Prices
  • Healthcare
  • Economy/Taxes
  • Energy Conservation
  • Foreign Policy

7:30 pm in 202 Brooks Hall
This event is open to the public.

Wednesday, April 2

star Movie & Brown-Bag Session: “All the President’s Men”
School of Journalism student organizations (DIMA and Ed on Campus) will host a brown-bag session and movie viewing of “All the President’s Men.”

1:00 pm in 101-102 Martin Hall
Light refreshments will be served.

Thursday, April 3

star Digital Media and the 2008 Presidential Election
The School of Journalism and WVU Festival of Ideas will host a panel of national reporters, bloggers and new media producers discussing digital media and its impact on the 2008 Presidential election.

7:30 pm in the Mountainlair Ballrooms
