Each year, the WVU Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism hosts a week-long series of events aimed at exploring a current media issue.
Journalism Week 2008: New Media. New Democracy.
This year’s “JWeek” focuses on the impact of new media – blogs, social media, user-generated websites, etc. – on the 2008 Presidential election.
This year’s activities include guest lectures, classroom discussions, student competitions and two public events.
